This post speaks to a stand out player from the Kelowna Sun Devils AAA 18U, Noah Ringness- Law.
We had the privilege of working with Noah, after speaking with his coach and dad Rob Law. We agreed to film two games in April vs the Victoria Eagles and the South Fraser Giants. Check out the highlight reel at the bottom of the page and by clicking here!
Noah plays shortstop for his team which is regarded as a power house in the AAA 18U circuit. They are currently first place in the league and have a 20-3 record. During this remarkable season Noah has amassed some impressive stats which we will speak to below:
Click here for a link to more of his stats
Average: In the 68 at bats he's had during the course of the season, Noah has 36 hits, giving him an average of .529! If you combine this with his walks, he has an on base percentage (OBP) of .598!
Hits: In 22 games, Noah has amassed 36 hits, including 9 doubles, 2 triples and 4 homers!
RBIs: Those 36 hits have lead to 25 RBIs!
Strike Outs: In 68 at bats Noah has only struck out once. Given our experience with minor league umps, the strike out may have been questionable…
Slugging %: With a slugging % of .897, he's 203 percentage points higher than the current MLB leader Aaron Judge who is at .694 (as of June 22, 2017). This means that he is dominating his peers at a blistering rate.
Stolen Bases: In 22 games, Noah has stolen 25 bases.
